Labourer Needed

Pleasant View is building a reliable on-call roster of 20–30 Snow Shovelers for the upcoming winter season. This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, weather-dependent work. About the Role. This position is as-needed, based entirely on snowfall. Hours cannot be guaranteed. When snow events occur, team members will be contacted and required to meet at a Central Location in Kingston on a Bus Route before heading to their assigned locations.Key Responsibilities

Shovel snow from walkways, entrances, steps, and other assigned areas

Apply salt as required

Work independently after being dropped off at your designated site

Follow all safety practices and instructions from supervisors

Maintain steady pace and quality work in cold, harsh weather conditionsRequirements

No driver’s license required

No VSS (background check) required

Comfortable working alone after drop-off

Wage $20–$25 per hour, based on experience and performance

Equipment Operator 

Pleasant View is seeking experienced Equipment Operators to join our winter operations team.
We are looking for reliable, skilled individuals who can safely operate medium and large snow-
removal equipment—including skid steers and loaders—with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Operate medium and large snow-removal equipment, including skid steers and loaders
Clear snow from parking lots, wide walkways, around parked cars, and benches 
Follow assigned routes and maintain safe, efficient operating practices
Work with minimal direction while completing tasks accurately and on time
Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Be available during snow events, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and
holidays as required
Requirements
Verifiable experience operating skid steers, loaders, or similar heavy
equipment
Ability to work independently with little to no training required
Ability to meet at a Central Location in Kingston on a bus route before each shift
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors in cold, fast-paced conditions
Compensation
$25–$30 per hour, based on experience and verified skill level
